What we collect

What you type into the call back form: your name, your phone number or email, and your message.

What a job needs: the address of the work, what was done, and what it came to.

Payments are taken by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this site and we never see it.

Why we keep it

To reach you about your job, to do the work, to send you an invoice or a receipt, and to keep the records the tax rules ask for.

Nothing is used to advertise to you, and nothing is sold or passed on for anybody else's use.

Where it is kept

In this website's own database, held by Cloudflare.

With Stripe, for payments and refunds.

In Gmail, for the emails we send and receive.

In Google Calendar, when an appointment is booked in.

Google Calendar

If PlumberPlug connects a Google account, that connection is used for one thing: to show and manage PlumberPlug's own appointments.

Nothing from that account is read for any other purpose, shown to anyone else, used for advertising, or passed to another service. The connection can be taken away at any time from the Google account's own security settings.

How long

Job and payment records are kept for 2 years, which is what the tax rules ask for, and are deleted after that.

A call back message that never became a job is deleted once it is clearly finished with.

Getting a copy or having it deleted

Ask for a copy of what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing info@plumberplug.ca. We will answer within thirty days.

Where the law asks us to keep a record (a paid invoice, for the tax years above) we will say so plainly rather than quietly keep it.
